Our highly experienced International Grants Writing Consultant and founder of
MJH Grants, a US based Grants organisation will be delivering the second
Virtual Grants Writing Training for Non-Profit Organisations through guided
webinar sessions.

This course is aimed at equipping individuals in all sectors with the relevant
skills and know-how to produce engaging, high quality, successful grant
proposals for development projects. The course will increase organizations’
chances of winning competitive funds from partners, donors, government & other
entities. The course covers the various types of bids and proposals and the
various approaches needed to reflect these factors including planning, writing
the bid, structure and writing style as well as partnership development,
budgets, and eligibility.

Maura Harrington, MIIM, GPC
Maura Harrington, MIIM, GPC, is an American seasoned grant professional with
more than 20 years of non-profit development experience. She worked overseas
for more than ten years in a variety of non-profit positions, including
proposal development, project management, public speaking, and training, in
the former Soviet Union, (Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia). She was a
senior grant writer and manager in the health care industry close to 10 years,
specializing in large foundation, federal, and state grant applications. She
holds a master’s degree in International and Intercultural Management from the
SIT Graduate Institute (formerly the School for International Training), and a
Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Boston University. She speaks
fluent French and some Georgian.
In 2017, Maura obtained her Grant Professional Certification (GPC) from the
Grant Professionals Certification Institute. She is also the immediate past
president of the New England Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association
(www.grantprofessionals.org); a national organisation dedicated to the
advancement of grant professionals.
