FIAN Zambia advocates for the human right to adequate food and nutrition on
the basis of the International Bill of Human Rights, in particular the
International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural rights (Article 11),
its Optional Protocol, and General Comment No. 12 as adopted by the UN
Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, and other relevant human
rights documents.
