Purpose
Establish, maintain and improve the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
business flow process. Improve work force productivity and quality by
anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling,
and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment
access.
Responsibilities
> Scope the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair preventive, predictive, design-out activities on the organization’s plant and equipment.
> Plan all necessary parts, equipment, services and documentation to perform the maintenance work.
> Provide a work pack with job planning sufficiently detailed to prevent work errors, with all equipment safety issues highlighted to the technician and the correct maintenance documents and parts are available so that the maintenance work performed returns machine condition to as good-as-new.
> Fully documented quality system with clearly established performance targets, deadlines, outcomes, responsibilities and authorities identified for every stage and everyone involved in the process.
> Maintains essential records and files from which management reports are prepared and distributed.
> Enters purchase requisitions for all planned services.
> Responsible for the maintenance of the Bills of Material (Parts lists) for assets including ensuring current information is accurate.
> Participation in budgetary preparation, tracking, and analysis.
> Assists the Maintenance Manager and Production Manager in periodic analysis of cost trends with recommendations for continual improvement.
> Managing maintenance data collection and information gathering to more effectively provide the planned maintenance service in future
Experience & Education
> Degree in Business or engineering related field.
> Any professional certification or affiliation related to maintenance management practice.
> Strategic planning, coupled with tactical execution.
> Ability to use computer and applicable company software.
> Proficient in MS Office Applications – MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS project, SAP.
> Able to apply standards and processes that maintain regulatory compliance.
> Strong leadership and personnel development skills.
> Financial understanding, with the ability to set strategy against financial goals.
> Understanding of metrics that drive fleet maintenance performance.
> Ability to facilitate/train others and ability to navigate and handle difficult conversations.
> Proven track record of safe work and safety leadership.
> Knowledge of the English language
Skills

> Demonstrated project and change leadership ability.
> Proven planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills.
> Understand relationship between management, maintenance, and operations.
