Digital Technology and Communication and Advisor for our Lusaka based team.

This is a seconded position to the five-year, USAID-funded Scaling Up
Nutrition Technical Assistance (SUN TA) project, implemented by a consortium
lead by DAI. The Viamo Advisor will work under the day-to-day direction of
DAI’s Chief of Party, while reporting directly to the Viamo Country Manager in
Lusaka, Zambia. The DT&CA manages all Viamo project activities under SUN TA
working closely with the consortium partners as well as relevant Government
institutions like NFNC, MoH, and districts.

The DT&CA succeeds in this role by drawing on at least 4 years of solid
project management experience of similar-sized projects (ideally funded by
USAID) whilst also bringing onboard knowledge and experience with the use and
application of mobile technology, social and electronic media as it applies to
Zambia or similar countries with emphasis on behaviour change communication.

About SUN TA The Scaling Up Nutrition Program is a cross-ministry and multi-
donor program to reduce stunting in Zambia. The overarching goal is to reduce
the prevalence of stunting among children under two years of age in target
districts. The project takes a holistic approach and interventions are planned
in governance, agriculture, nutrition, WASH, health including family planning,
early childhood development and behaviour change.

Over the life of the project, Viamo will focus on social behaviour change
communication (SBCC) through digital technologies like mobile phones. Viamo
will provide both technical expertise as well as digital solutions for the
project to enhance the effectiveness of the behaviour change
components/activities. At the same time, Viamo will support DAI with priority
data collection and will advise on data collection through mobile phones.
