We are looking for a Pharmacist to work with our Pharmacy
Technologists/technicians (Pharm Techs) in our retail pharmacies within
Lusaka. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and supporting our
retail pharmacy personnel at our outlets on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

> Supervising and supporting Pharm Techs; verifying preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals.
> Verifying order entries, tracking inventory, selling medicines and other stock.
> Reviewing and interpreting prescriptions and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
> Training of pharmacy personnel and ensuring that they are adhering to guidelines and SOPs.
> Ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements by maintaining records for controlled substances; removing expired and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory and ensuring that staff have valid HPCZ practicing licences at all times.
> Maintaining current ZAMRA registration; studying existing and new legislation and advising management on actions needed.
> Participating in continuous quality improvement activities and any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

> Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
> HPCZ registration with a valid annual practicing license.
> At least 2 years post internship experience,
> Experience in a retail pharmacy is an added advantage.
> Microsoft Office user, particularly for Excel
