JOB OVERVIEW

The shipping Officer will be responsible for all imports and exports
documentation, coordinating logistics and efficiently managing all
consignments including communication with suppliers, logistical organiZation’s
and Authorities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

> Responsible for complete preparation of import and export documentation.
> Following through all the processes involved in the import and export of consignments from suppliers, transit, transporter and delivery
> Liaise closely with agents and suppliers to ensure that cargo readiness matches with vessels arrival etc.
> Tracking the cargo on a daily basis , scheduling shipments and planning logistics and updating Management on a daily basis
> Preparing regular shipping and preparing reports for Management
> Any other tasks assigned by management

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

> Acceptable qualifications in logistics and freight Management / Clearing and forwarding
> Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar field.
> Strong interpersonal and communication skills
> Excellent administration and organization skills
> Customer-focused
> Strong computer skills
> Integrity and leadership skills
