Overview/ Job Description

Dot Com Zambia www.dczambia.com is an award winning Zambian ICT company that
was launched in 2009. The company prides itself as company that is focused on
building ICT based solutions for the Zambian and African Market. Dot Com
Zambia is seeking a junior inhouse accountant / business analyst to assume
responsibility for the company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining
accurate books on accounts payable and receivables, daily financial entries
and reconciliations. Other responsibilities will include financial reporting,
general ledger entries, record payments and adjustments. The position can be
full time or part time with some remote working.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

-->Transaction Categorization in Zoho Cloud Accounting Software
-->Weekly and Monthly Transactions Reconciliation in Zoho Cloud Accounting Software.
-->Input of Transactions required to prepare management accountants
-->Preparation of Management Reports for Key Business Lines
-->Sales Commission Management for Sales Staff
-->Third Party Payment Gateway Reconciliation
-->Vendor Payment Reconciliation
-->Preparation of select vendor payment
-->Risk Management Analysis- Including Accounts Receivable Levels
-->Petty Cash Management
-->Establishing and Monitoring Internal financial operating procedures
-->Assist with Audit-prework
-->Asset Register Management

Qualifications and experience

-->One years of accounting experience or more will be a plus
-->Working knowledge of cloud accounting software
-->CAT, ZICA, ACCA or equivalent qualifications
-->Membership of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants
