Supply and installation plumbing materials to Kitwe

Open Tender

SOS Children’s Villages Zambia has set aside funds to be used towards finance
for the supply and installation of above named items.

Potential Suppliers are now invited to participate in this open tender by
following the instructions below;

1) The tender is open to all potential suppliers registered in Zambia and
authorized to trade in those items.
2) The location of supply is SOS Kitwe
3) The tender is free to participate.
4) Pay attention to selection requirements below.
5) The selection criteria for the award of contract shall be as follows;

Eligibility stage

a. Submission of company or business registration
b. Submission of valid tax clearance certificate

Technical Stage

c. Compliance to specification and quantity provided
d. Proof of having supplied similar items to a minimum of 3 clients (reference
letters or past copies of contracts will be required)

Finance/Commercial Stage

e. Price (material, labour and all logistics should be inclusive)
f. Delivery period should not exceed 14 days from contract award date
g. SOS Children’s Villages Zambia may offer a 25% advance payment depending on
credibility of the selected vendor

6) Proposal submission should be in HARD COPIES only in a sealed envelope and
must be deposited at the front office tender box located at SOS Kitwe Office.
The submission address is given below.
7) No electronic submission will be allowed.
8) No late submission will be accepted.
9) Due to COVID-19 prevention measures still in-force, no public opening of
offers shall take place.
10) Results will be communicated to all bidders after the evaluation process
complete.
11) However, submission acknowledgement shall be sent out to all who will
submit the offers.
12) No payment shall be made on any part of the supply not satisfactorily
performed.
13) SOS Children’s Villages Zambia will have sole right to reject any delivery
that will not be satisfactory.

6) 06 x boxes tiles for the shower room
7) 06 x shower curtains
8) 01 x toilet cistern with fittings
9) 06 x bathroom towel rails
10) 20 x pillar taps ½ inch
11) 06 x syphone sets
12) 06 x shower traps
13) 06 x toilet seat covers
14) 02 x replace kitchen tops with granite
15) 02 x soap dishes
16) 12 x metres water supply pipes ½ inch
17) 01 x gully traps
18) 05 x geyser elements 3kw
19) 18 x meters waste pipes 1.5 inch
20) 08 x brackets for hand wash basins (bolt and screws included)
21) 01 x labour for installation
