Background

SNV Netherlands Development Organisation started operations in Zambia in 1965,
shortly after the country’s independence and has been a consistent development
partner since then. In alignment with Zambia’s Vision 2030 and its Seventh
National Development Plan (7NDP 2016-2021), we provide services in the
Agriculture, Energy and Water, Sanitation & Hygiene sectors.
Our work includes advisory services and brokering of knowledge, and we support
policy dialogue to local organisations. With our activities we aim to upscale
and have high impact on development. To accomplish this, we work in
partnership with the public sector, private sector, farmer groups, civil
society organisations, and other development organisations. Realising
inclusive and sustained development at scale requires systemic change in
sector performance and promoting equality. SNV supports local ownership by
strengthening the capacities of local stakeholders in development processes
for and on behalf of the community.

SNV, through the Chambeshi – Lukanga Sanitation Project is inviting eligible
and reputable Firms/contractors to submit offers for the construction of
Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant in Mpulungu Town.

Eligibility

Eligible bidders registered with the National Council for Construction in
CATEGORY B, Grade 3, 4 or 5, duly registered with other relevant government
authorities, a sound financial basis, relevant experience and reputation are
invited to submit their bids as per set out guidelines. The bidders may obtain

Submission Deadlines

Bids must be received no later than 1000am local time on Tuesday, 1st
December 2020. Late submissions will not be accepted and SNV reserves the
right not to evaluate a nonresponsive or incomplete bid. All bids are to be
submitted following the guidelines listed below. Telephone and physical
inquiries will not be allowed.

All bids must be submitted by both email and hard copy. The delivery email
address to be used for all submissions is zambiaprocurement@snv.org;
Please indicate the IFB number at the cover page of your bid and as an email
heading.

Sealed hard copy versions can be deposited in a clearly marked tender box
