The Stock Controller will be tasked with tracking shipments, overseeing
inventory audits and maintaining reports of purchases and pricing. To be
successful in this role, you should be familiar with supply chain procedures,
warehousing and have good communication skills to interact with vendors,
clients and internal teams.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reporting To Store Manager
Supervision Of Floor supervisor, GRN team, shelf packers
Interacts With Manager and Employees

JOB DESCRIPTION

Update all the product pricing as per communication from head office
Print and handover all the new price shelf labels to the shelf packers
Follow the shelf label policy as per the company standards
Communicate the stock out/ critically low stock to the buying team on daily
basis
Check system and physical expiry dates on daily basis for near expiry products
Oversee the process of gate inward and GRN, make sure all the GRN prices are
correct, in accordance with the supplier’s current price list
To make sure all the GRNs are authorized in timely manner. If any GRN has any
issue, same to be raised and cleared with either the MDM or buying team
Raise internal transfer requests for stocks either from DC or the other
branches
Take daily stock counts for lines listed as “Hazard categories/ SKUs” either
at the checkout counters or in the kiosk
Oversee the perpetual stock count requests raised from HO and update in the
same in the system for authorization in a timely manner. (loss, damage and
excess entries)
Ensure that all entries in “NULL lot” are cleared on a weekly basis
Prepare the set of supplier invoices, cash purchase invoices and petty cash
spend invoices with a printed list of all the documents and send to the
finance team

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

Experience 3 years
Education Level Diploma Level
Qualifications Certificate/ Diploma Purchasing and Supply or related field
Software SAP, Excel or related stock control software
Equipment Job related
Knowledge Of Warehousing operations, Inventory and stock control procedures
and best practices
Skills To Prepare accurate reports
Ability To Meet deadlines and communicate effectively
