1\. To ensure proper Access Control, by controlling the movements of both
vehicles and personnel entering and exiting the company premises. Ensuring
that all company properties going out and coming in are accompanied by an ITV,
delivery note, invoice or pass that is authorized by the signatory and must be
recorded in appropriate books.
2\. Conducting searches to both employees’ and private vehicles leaving and
entering the company.
3\. To guide and direct visitors and customers so that they can follow the
right established procedures. Visitors must be correctly identified, contact
person informed, entered in the visitor’s log book, Recording the purpose of
business, giving the visitor a card which must be displayed, time in and out
to be indicated and ensuring that the visitor has signed in the visitor’s log
book.
4\. To ensure that all company vehicles exiting and entering the farms are
recorded in the files i.e. time out, time in, mileage out, vehicle to and
from, the driver must sign.
5\. Ensuring that there is proper identification of people found in the
company premises IDs for employees, contractors, casuals and visitors etc.
6\. To Deny, Detect and deter any an unauthorized entry and those who fail to
give proper identification must be denied entry.
7\. Recording all occurrences, both incidental and routine incidences in the
Occurrence Book and report to the Supervisor.
8\. Ensuring that Bio security rules are strictly observed, by spraying all
vehicles coming in the farm.
9\. In case of security alarm sounding, I will inform the supervisor and will
not switch off fence before establishing the cause of the alarm.
10\. Recording all items taken out as samples e.g. vehicle parts or tools
borrowed in the outgoing books showing dates when taken out, ITV number,
destination, name of person taking out and signature, motor vehicle number and
return dates.
11\. Ensure that you do not leave your place of work unattended to all the
time, hand / take over always
