Paid Internship at Zambia Belonging, Everyday Lusaka

Zambia Belonging, an initiative by Everyday Lusaka, is a counter-archive
dedicated to celebrating old photographs from private archives across Zambia.
We digitise and share memories of Zambia to connect with your history in a new
and visual way.

The project becomes a reality through collecting, digitising and sharing
images, along with the narratives attached to them from willing contributors
across Zambia and her diaspora.

To further the project, we are looking for interns who are passionate about
story telling and Zambia’s past.

Requirements

1\. Own a laptop
2\. Based in Lusaka, Zambia
3\. Good writing skills
4\. Excellent communications skills
5\. Willing to learn

Description of assignment

1\. Searching for and collecting photographs from willing contributors
2\. Interviewing contributors and writing captions/stories
3\. Scanning images in high quality training and equipment will be provided
4\. Preparing images and captions for social media
