A successful System Administrator candidate will have various skills and
qualifications to perform the required duties.

Requirements

-->3 years proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
-->Experience with databases, networks LAN, WAN and patch management
-->Knowledge of system security e.g., intrusion detection systems and data backup/recovery
-->Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
-->Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
-->Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

-->Completed High School at Grade 12
-->Minimum Diploma in Computer Science or Related Field Degree would be an added advantage.
-->Proficiency in English
-->Excellent communication skills
-->Demonstrated ability to work successfully with a diverse group of users
-->Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
-->Ability to learn new content areas and new skills quickly
-->Professional attitude and work habits.

Job Description

-->Install and configure software and hardware
-->Manage network servers and technology tools
-->Set up accounts and workstations
-->Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
-->Troubleshoot issues and outages
-->Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
-->Upgrade systems with new releases and models
-->Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
-->Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
-->Make sure all PC CPUs, Monitors and TVs are switched on and in working order.
-->Clean all Computer CPUs , Monitors and TV screens
