IT SALES EXECUTIVE – Information Technology, Lusaka, Zambia

Our client, a leading supplier and distributor of ICT products seeks to
recruit a target driven and dynamic Sales Executive to ensure the achievement
of sales objectives, in terms of volume (market share), price, and available
products as well as to enhance and optimize sales performance. IT sales
experience is a MUST!

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reporting To Country Manager
Supervision Of Self
Interacts With Management, Clients, Team

JOB DESCRIPTION

Achieving growth and meeting sales targets set by country manager
Visit potential customers for purposes of securing new business
Establishing and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients
Focusing sales efforts by studying existing and potential customers
Submitting orders by referring to price lists and product literature
Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on
pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques,
etc.
Funnel management
Identify and resolve client concerns
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such
as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory
analyses.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

Experience 3 years
Education Level Diploma Level
Qualifications Diploma/Degree in Marketing or related field
Software Various IT support applications, IT savvy
Equipment Job related
Knowledge Of Customer service and marketing techniques in an IT environment
Skills To Understand systems within the IT environment which impact directly
upon the distribution of Products
Ability To Identify cultural, organisational and business constraints
affecting solution offerings
Other Requirements At least 1 year experience in an IT sales environment with
experience selling and marketing top products like
Lenovo/HP/EPSON/UPS/CCTV/ENTERPRISE
