Barloworld Equipment has vacancy for BBS (Barloworld Business System) Business
Unit Practitioner for the Zambia.

Applicants suitably qualified based on the requirements stated below are
invited to apply for the position.

Applicant should meet the following requirements

KEY OUTPUTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

> Support the business in with implementation and sustainment of the Business Unit’s BBS commitments
> Support regional Operational Excellence team with Lean principles to achieve Bowler targets
> Identify opportunities for replication of best practice
> Become competent in delivery the required BBS concepts training to various teams, as required, within a Business Unit Content for communication activities
> Perform regular audits as to demonstrate embedding of Lean principles through BBS
> Live BBS foundation through respect for people and continuous improvement culture
> Drive escalations throughout the organisation with aim to improve and resolving non – value add steps.
> Act a conduit between business excellence and regional teams to ensure communication flow is clear without barriers and hindrances of new/revised solutions
> Sharing and implementation of solutions from rest of business as to ensure best practice is
> Provide updates on the performance of assigned areas of responsibility to the Operational Excellence team and Business Unit leadership
> Ensure BBS is operating as per standard within the area of responsibility which would include daily assistance with huddles and GEMBA walks,
> Support the required BBS cultural change and finding ways on how embed the change
> Help create an enabling environment for the embedding of BBS
> Support regional team with regional A3’s and the execution of the actions and maintenance there off
> Assist with the preparation of the monthly Mission Control updates

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

> Minimum Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Industrial / Process Engineering, Risk & Systems Engineering, Accounting
> 6-Sigma Certification
> Process and systems documentation experience
> Project Management experience
> Change Management strategist
> Organizational Culture exposure
> Sound IT Knowledge
> 12 Certificate
> Valid Driver’s Licence

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERTISE

> Clear understanding of requirements for behaviour and technical Coaching / Facilitation
> Excellent verbal communication skills
> Demonstrated experience as a lean/continuous improvement practitioner
> lear demonstration and understanding of principles of Servant Leadership
> Successful demonstration of project/portfolio implementation
> Intermediate computer literacy (MS Office)

MINIMUM REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

> Drive a culture of Change Management, Problem solving (L3); Analytical thinking (L3); Written and Verbal communication (L2); Conflict management (L3); Influencing and negotiation (L3); Drive, Energy and Initiative (Results-Focus) (L3); Practical Execution Management (Planning, Organising and Monitoring) (L3); Developing People (L2); Programme and Project management (L3); Professional / Technical Competence (L2)
