Regional Operations Managers (ROM) will perform various functions intended to
establish Investcorp Zambia Limited in the north/west region of Zambia.

Responsibilities

> Coordinate, monitor, and manage operations;
> Achieve and improve company’s goals;
> Ensure adherence to company operational and administrative procedures;
> Work hand-in-hand with management in order to achieve company objectives;
> Assist in the recruitment of staff and evaluate performance of the region;
> Lead the planning and actively implement marketing and sales activities;
> Discipline staff who go against company policies;
> Oversee performance-based bonuses/salary increments to workers that merit them;
> Give feedback on regional activities to ensure company objectives flow as expected;
> Travel frequently within and outside the region;
Perform any other responsibilities as directed.

> Good decision making ability/skill;
> Good analytical skills are required for tackling problems that may come up on a daily basis;
> Good communication skills;
> Ability to work as part of a team;
> Demonstrate maturity and excellent leadership skill;
> Very good time management skill to be able to beat deadlines and display efficiency.

Requirements

> A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or Engineering. A combination of a technical and business related field will be added advantage. Diploma holders with extensive experience are welcome to apply;
> 3-5 years industry relevant experience;
> Membership to relevant professional body will also be of great advantage;
> Driver’s license is a must have.
