Responsibilities

> Contributes to the development of the departmental business plan based on rigorous environmental and competitor analysis. Provides information and guidance for financial planning purposes
> Maintains custody of Mobile Money financial policies, procedures and systems, disseminates these effectively and monitors compliance
> Assesses financial risks related to Mobile Money operations and recommend ways to mitigate these
> Performs routine reconciliation and audit risk tracking
> Provides support for resolving queries between agents and service centers
> Runs reports and produces statistics for decision making
> Prepares statutory reports according to international financial reporting standards
> Prepares and submits weekly and monthly performance reports on a timely basis
> Effectively manages the development of direct reports, effectively linking performance management, learning & development, talent management and the MTNZ Employee Value Proposition to achieve optimum performance

Candidate Requirements

> Accounting or equivalent qualification– ACCA/CIMA
> Grade 12 Certificate with 5 credits or better of which English and Mathematics are a must
> Five (5) years experience in banking and financial management
> Database management
> Customer relationship management
> Report writing, Financial Management and audit training
