Unit. Z.P.G. supplies the Zambian Farmers as well as neighboring countries
with the latest pig
genetics aimed at maximizing profit. ZPG supplies Semen, Gilts as well as
Boars to the market.

Zambian Pig Genetics is looking for the services of a qualified young person
to fill up position of Assistant to the Manager.

Responsibilities

> Heat detection
> Artificial Insemination
> Boar stimulation
> Weighing
> Vaccination
> Back Fat measurement
> Feed Calibration
> Mortality disposal
> Semen collection
> Semen processing and evaluation

Requirements

> Tertiary education in an Agricultural related Program
> Must be between Ages 24 and 30
> Excellent English language skills
> Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
> Excellent communication skills, flexibility, time-management, ability to work under stress and in difficult conditions
> Should have at least 1 year experience of working with Livestock. ( Pigs are an added advantage)
