FQM

Key Responsibilities

> This position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.

> Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinates.
> Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
> Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
> Ensure proper right-to-know and other OSHA regulations are followed for the safety of all employees.
> Oversees the erecting and dismantling of access scaffolding
> Ensures that the inspection of scaffolding materials for corrosion and rust is carried out.
> Ensures that scaffolding materials are removed after completion of work are stacked safely.
> Ensures that Risk assessments of scaffolding requirements to be erected are done
> Ensures discipline is applied and Scaffolders are held accountable for their actions.
> Ensures that general housekeeping is maintained at all times.
> Perform any other duty as assigned by the Senior supervisor.

Qualifications

> Grade 12 Certificate
> Minimum of a Craft Certificate in Scaffollding
> Possess strong interpersonal skills

Experience

> Minimum experience 5 years
> Previous work experience in a large copper mining operation will be advantageous.
> Must be Computer literate.
> Use of PRONTO will be an added advantage.
